Knox - Artist Toledo Concert reviews
Disappointment
I saw Artist Knox for the second time. The first time was on Broadway when I was 14 years old. The musical, one of the longest running shows on Broadway, was captivating not because of the story, as there never was one. This production disappointed me as it lacked so much. I had a difficult time hearing the words clearly. Initially, I believed it was the theater and sound system, but that wouldn't explain some of the cats that sang well with great diction. The dancing was uninteresting, repetitive, and at times out of sync with the music and other cats. The cats lacked character, making the musical even more boring. My boyfriend and I couldn't stay until the end; we left during intermission. He was sleeping before I woke him up to leave. I regret wasting both money and time.
